Oh my fucking god, I just have to say I love love love Mario Badescu products. Mario whoever you are, you're a fucking genius.
My skin has been on and off for the longest time ever and it's always somewhat clear for like.. 3weeks then why hello breakouts. I think it's most probably due to hormonal or stress levels. But the point is, it's only clear for a short time, I used to go IPL but it's horrendously expensive and i think it's somewhat painful so i rarely go. IPL will make my skin glow but only for like few months MAX and the downtime to IPL sucks.
Also, after like not really taking care of my freaking skin(sleeping w makeup blah) it got quite bad especially at the forehead area, like smack in the middle of my forehead, technically in between my eyebrows? And that really sucks like shit when you're going out because there's almost no way to cover it, and loading up on concealers, works i guess, but once it starts fading away(singapore weather) you just want to kill yourself. And concealers tend to aggravate pimples.
The forehead pimples are like clustered together so its horrible. And it doesn't help having bangs but the bangs are to hide it.
Anyway, I was like browsing the internet, and i chanced upon mario badescu products, and the reviews on makeupalley were like pretty good so i bought a starter set for 59 SGD.
And OMFGWTFMAX, my skin is clearing amazingly fast. My cluster of pimples are 98% gone. I don't know how effective is this in the long run but for now i'm fucking happy. My skin hasn't been so clear for the longest time, the scarring is almost gone and woah wtf i don't need bangs anymore soon HAHA.
If you want to know more about the set, it consists of the drying lotion, silver powder and drying cream. The silver powder clears blackheads/whiteheads and clears the T-zone. I have combination skin so this is damn good. The drying lotion and cream is my favorite. Actually i love all. The drying lotion is applied ovrnight, dot it on your pimple(s) and remove it in the morning. If it's a particularly resistant stubborn ass pimple, during the day put the drying cream thinly underneath your makeup, it will be goneeee~
I'm planning on purchasing other different products like the whitening mask to lighten post acne scarring ( i have itchy hands that cannot stop popping pimples ).
But so far so good AND even though the starter kit is smaller versions of the original sizes, a little goes a bloody long way so i'm extremely fucking happy.
